Form tutors build strong relationships with their students, having the most day-to-day contact with each other, as well as their parents/carers. Each form tutor carefully monitors each student’s progress, maintaining close links with Heads of Learning, Student Support Managers and subject staff, and offering support with all aspects of Academy life, independent and home learning, informing choices and any other challenges which the student may face.

We have an excellent support for learning programme offering individually tailored support and personal motivation programmes within clear boundaries to ensure that all students are celebrated for the qualities they bring and are helped to develop the moral values and respect for others that we wish to see in our future society.
